Services: Case Management
There are many types of service providers that specifically help people who have experienced human trafficking. As a part of working together, these partner agencies agree to center that person’s needs and allow people who choose to work with them to make choices for themselves.
These agencies agree to keep the following values at the forefront as they provide services
- Agencies will understand trauma and its impact on the people they serve.
- Agencies will not judge a person for their experiences.
- Agencies will center the participant and their choices as they access services.
- Agencies will offer services in the language that the participant prefers.
- Agencies will allow participants to identify their gender themselves.
A full list of programs can be found on the Cook County Human Trafficking Task Force website as part of the Victim Services Subcommittee page.
